What your child gains

  • Confidence that follows them off the mat — into school and how they handle setbacks.
  • Focus and discipline — structured classes that turn energy into attention and respect.
  • Real, safe self-defense — taught age-appropriately, so your child is capable and calm, never aggressive.
  • A team that has their back — coaches and teammates who celebrate every step.

Why jiu-jitsu for kids

American Jiu-Jitsu involves no striking — no punching or kicking. It’s about staying calm, using leverage, and solving problems. Parents consistently tell us it’s the martial art they’re most comfortable with their child learning. Our belt progression gives kids clear goals and the pride of earning them. Ages, classes & safety

We welcome kids ages 4 and up, grouped by age and ability so your child is challenged at the right level and never lost in the crowd. We run Lil’ Kids and Kids groupings so the 4-year-olds and the 10-year-olds each get what they need. Classes are taught by instructors trained to work with young students — patient, structured, and genuinely fun.
